To secure a session with DAC Photography, a signed contract is required for all bookings. No date or time is reserved until the contract has been signed and the non refundable booking retainer of fifty dollars has been paid. This retainer is required at the time of scheduling and is applied toward the total session cost. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than forty eight hours prior to the scheduled shoot. If payment is not received within the required timeframe, the session may be cancelled and the retainer will be forfeited.

Clients may cancel or may be allowed a one time reschedule to their session up to forty eight hours before the confirmed shoot date. Cancellations or rescheduling requests submitted after this timeframe will result in the forfeiture of all payments made, including the booking retainer.

In the event that a session cannot proceed due to weather conditions, safety concerns or unforeseen circumstances on the part of DAC Photography, clients are eligible for a full refund of all payments made excluding the original non refundable retainer. Clients may also choose to reschedule and transfer their retainer to a new date, subject to availability. DAC Photography reserves full discretion to determine if weather or conditions require cancellation or postponement for quality and safety purposes.

Sessions located outside of Calgary are subject to a travel fee. This fee is determined by distance and travel time and will be communicated in advance before booking is finalized. Travel fees must be paid with the final session balance. Any additional costs related to the session such as location permit fees, parking charges or specialty equipment will be billed to the client unless otherwise agreed in writing.

By scheduling with DAC Photography, the client confirms that they have reviewed, understand and agree to all policies stated above. These terms are in place to ensure clarity, professionalism and fairness for both client and photographer, while protecting the time and commitment invested into every session.
